Janitor/Maintenance Location: Sunnyside Adult Residential Facility – Torrance, CA Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour DOE Schedule: Full-Time | FLEXIBLE 4-2 OR Wednesday to Sunday | 10am - 6:30pm Must be able to pass a background check, fingerprinting is required for this role Sunnyside Adult Residential Facility (a large, unlocked mental health group home) is looking for a dependable Janitor to help keep our facility clean, sanitary, and safe for residents, staff, and visitors. • Perform daily janitorial tasks throughout the facility • Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and recreational areas • Sweep, mop, strip, wax, and buff floors as needed • Clean windows, mirrors, and high-touch surfaces • Landscape 2 courtyards • Assemble resident furniture as needed • Change lightbulbs, and other small maintenance tasks given by Campus Maintenance Director • Disinfect and deodorize according to policy • Remove trash and reline receptacles with clean liners Requirements • Must be able to perform physical cleaning duties throughout the day • Previous janitorial experience is required, some maintenance experience/knowledge is preferred • Must be authorized to work in the United States • Must be able to pass a background check, fingerprinting is required for this role Benefits • Competitive pay: $19 - $21 per hour DOE • Paid orientation and training • Paid sick leave and holidays • Medical, dental, vision, and AFLAC • 401K • Supportive, team-oriented environment • Opportunities for growth Sunnyside Nursing & Post-Acute Care is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
