2006 Toyota Land Cruiser 100 Series – $12,000 (259k miles, DC/MD/VA) For sale is my 2006 Toyota Land Cruiser (100 Series) with 259,000 miles. I purchased it in January 2021 with 248,692 miles. It’s a great truck that I’ve really enjoyed owning, and it pains me to sell it, but I don’t have the time to give it the detailed attention and maintenance that these vehicles require. It has some dents, dings, and scratches that come with age, and a to-do list if you want to truly baseline it. That said, it also has a lot of nice features and some recent maintenance. Recent Work • Timing belt & water pump service • Radiator replacement • Driver-side rear wheel bearing • New OEM charcoal canister (faulty gas cap is the issue) • OME medium torsion bars, Eibach shocks & springs, plus rear air bags for load adjustment Condition Notes • I was in a minor fender bender a few years ago → bumper & headlight replaced, hood still dented • Grom Bluetooth/Apple CarPlay unit installed (recently started draining the battery, so I pulled the radio fuse) • 4 × 34” Goodyear Duratracs (no full-size spare; carrier seized, spare sits in back) • Failing driver-side catalytic converter (I bought two aftermarket replacements that are included) • Interior is serviceable but shows wear: tear in driver’s seat, carpet stains • Only one key • Undercarriage has some wear but not bad overall; rockers and wheel wells are generally clean and rust free. Some small corrosion spots where paint chips exposed metal Extra Parts Included • OEM CV axle • CruiserTeq front-end parts kit (for baseline maintenance refresh) • Pair of aftermarket catalytic converters (new, uninstalled) • ACH shock spacers from Japan • Miscellaneous spares I’ve collected Why I’m Selling The engine still runs great, has plenty of power, and the 5-speed transmission shifts smoothly. Transfer case and center diff lock both work properly. This is still a fantastic vehicle at its core, just one that needs someone with the time and attention to bring it fully up to baseline. Terms • Price is firm – no lowball offers • Serious inquiries only • Plates & registration not included; bring your own or ideally tow it home until DMV paperwork is sorted • Available to view this Saturday (email or use Craigslist chat to schedule) I want to be as transparent as possible about the current condition. This Land Cruiser has some rough edges, but it’s still a great truck, and I’m including a lot of parts to help with its ongoing maintenance. Hoping it goes to a good home where it’ll get the attention it deserves.
