bellwether salon is a small, two chair salon located in the Charles River Speedway in Brighton. Currently we are two stylists working Wednesday through Saturday. This opportunity is to work on any of our off days - Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. It's best if you bring your own clientele since the space is not street-facing and Monday and Tuesday are the quieter days in the complex. Fellow tenants at the Charles River Speedway include Notch Brewing, The Pizza Project, The Koji Club, Rite Tea & Espresso Bar, Salsa Shack, Birds of Paradise and Third Time Ice Cream (all food and beverage vendors). We currently have an excess of demand from new clients who see us while they're visiting other businesses or attending events and maker markets in the complex. The space is best for a hairstylist but would also be great for makeup artists or other beauty professionals. Open to a booth rental fee per week but willing to put you on payroll as a commission employee. Set your own prices and hours within the available days. Not ideal for one-off use, I'd love to have someone consistently willing to work at least two days per week.
