Description

Pacific Electric is a 750-capacity music venue where fans and artists come together to share in an electrifying moment – a ‘lightning in a bottle’ type entertainment experience. Set in a historic warehouse, it pairs the raw energy of live performance with refined hospitality and thoughtful design and will act as a cultural conduit where local creatives and global talent intersect.  This venue is adjacent to two hospitality concepts, each with their own unique brand identities. About the Role The Finance Manager plays a critical role in keeping our numbers tight and our venues running smart. This role owns the day-to-day financial operations for the venue and the hospitality concepts, helping us understand how we’re doing, where we’re headed, and what we can improve. You’ll report to the Senior General Manager and work closely with venue teams, central ops, and external partners. We need someone who can bring clarity to complexity—someone who’s comfortable navigating a spreadsheet and a conversation with equal ease. The role is slated for a late summer/early fall start. This is a hands-on, cross-functional, collaborative role. You’ll help us spot risks, stay lean, and move with purpose. RESPONSIBILITIES Financial Operations & Reporting Own the monthly close process across the business units, in collaboration with external accountants. Prepare internal reports that help leadership understand business performance in real time. Translate financial data into actionable insights for non-finance teammates. Ensure accurate reporting under management agreements and lease obligations. Cash Flow, Budgets & Forecasts Maintain a live 13-week cash flow forecast to help us plan and pivot. Lead the budget process with the Sr. GM and department heads. Track actuals against plan, flagging variances and helping teams adjust as needed. Controls, Compliance & Oversight Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure clean books across all business units. Build and reinforce internal controls. Ensure that financial policies and processes are followed, even when things get busy. Oversee tip tracking and distribution processes to ensure transparency, accuracy, and compliance with labor laws. Settlements, Revenue & Margin Support Oversee promoter settlements and reconcile ticketing platform data to ensure accurate revenue capture and reporting. Work with booking and operations to model event-level margins and improve profitability. Support ongoing improvements in pricing, cost control, and unit economics. Team Support & External Partnerships. Partner with Payroll to ensure timely, accurate payroll execution across all business units. Provide financial guidance to operations and F&B teams around labor costs, tip pooling, and scheduling impacts. Coordinate with banking, insurance, and vendor partners as needed. Assist with the rollout of systems and tools (e.g., POS, ticketing, accounting) that make our financial operations smoother and smarter. QUALIFICATIONS & PREREQUISITES 4–6 years of experience in finance and/or accounting. Strong grasp of financial fundamentals—budgets, P&Ls, forecasting, and reconciliations. Experience in multi-unit hospitality, live events, or venues is a big plus. Hands-on, process-driven, and unafraid to ask hard questions. High proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and comfort with financial systems. Clear communicator who can translate financial language across teams. Experience in tip allocation and distribution for hourly employees. Annual Salary $95,000-$100,000 EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYMENT We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer at tvg.
