GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) and GWO Advanced Rescue Training (ART) Full certifications will be required to undertake the role. Job Tasks and Responsibilities: Maintenance and operation of robotic systems used for cleaning, inspection, and repair of wind turbines. Performing routine inspections on turbines to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Preventative maintenance on wind turbines and associated systems to reduce downtime and maximize energy production. Fault diagnosis and resolution of technical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and technology. Reporting and documentation of work completed, including identifying issues, repairs, and maintenance performed. Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry standards. This position is responsible for assisting the Assistant Project Manager and Superintendent with shop drawings, submittals, scheduling of subcontractors and materials, meetings, as-built drawings, job cost, procurement, quality checks (inclusive of torque checks) and field operations. The Field Engineer will be assigned to our projects nationally (primarily in the Northeast and Southeast) and must be open to working 100% onsite at our construction site. The Field Engineer travels and often temporarily relocates near project sites. This entry level position that helps prepare an individual for opportunities in Project Management, Estimating and Construction Management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Complies with EHS policies and addresses and/or elevates noncompliance Performs, documents and communicates EHS and QAQC inspections and results Job Functions Assists in managing field operations and ensuring all engineering processes are followed. Generates and manages project submittals, shop drawings, RFI’s and material certifications so all are submitted and approved prior to the start of work. Performs inspections on all received materials including material receiving reports, over short and damage reports, material release forms and maintain document control of all tasks Assists APMs and PMs with daily finance functions. Such as Penta, OnBase, Change Orders and Project Buyout Assists with Supply Chain functions such as vendor set up, working through the procurement process and routing for all CSE purchased material. Experienced in high voltage primary equipment testing and commissioning involving power transformers, reactors, circuit breakers, CT’s, PT’s, surge arrestors, disconnect switches, cap and reactor Banks, etc. Testing and commissioning as per NETA/IEEE/IEC standards. Strong understanding of safety standards. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and an extreme attention to detail are essential. Knowledge of the Microsoft office software suite of programs coupled with strong computer skills. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage a wide variety of issues simultaneously. Strong analytical, risk assessment and problem solving skills. NETA Testing Certification an asset. Background checks and Drug and Alcohol Pre-Access Testing will be required as part of employment.
