Description

Well, it is time I part ways with my 2000 7.3 PSD Super Duty. It is a long bed four door truck. I am currently selling it for parts as a whole as it is currently not running. I am sure if I focused on it I could get it running agoing but life is too busy and I need it gone. It worked well for me for 5 years and hate to see it go. It isn't in great condition and won't try and blow smoke about it. I will try to list the issues I know so there are not any suprises. As a whole it could just be a parts truck or it could be a fairly simple fix, could me your win my loss. It has a clean title and it was used as a fresh water river truck before I bought it so the bed is rusted to hell so might as well get rid of it once you get it. It has around 315,000 miles and just at about 300k it started having hard starts, loading idle, and some white smoke on start up. As soon as it reached operating temp ran like normal. I thought it was injectors and I have a remanufactured set ready to go. When works on the injector swap I found coolant in the furthest back driver side injector cup and figured it was one of the three things: bad injector cup, blown head gasket, or cracked block (not a mechanic, just what the blogs tell me). I drained the oil but of course there was coolant mixed with it. There was a leak on the transmission pan as some person had stripped a bolt so it wouldn't fully seal. I swapped the pan with a Mag-Hytech pan with a o-ring and seems to have solved the leak. Brand new transmission fluid is in the system. Prior to the issues that stopped it from running I swapped the oil every 5k (or very close to it) with Shell Rotella T6 5W-40 with a K&N oil filter and swapped the OEM fuel filter every oil change. I rebuilt most of the front end steering, breaks, and ball joints last summer so relatively new parts there. I am not looking for the world here and manly just trying to get enough money to pay for the good parts still on it so I don't loose out completely. It comes with the following: • Uninstalled remanufactured set of dual shot injectors fron Diesel Care and Performance. 8 AD injectors for a Navistar 04 Aug 1999 SN: 1097916 . Normally $750. • An uninstalled EBP valve delete kit with bellowed up pipes. Kit comes with a new non-EBP turbo pedistall to fix the leak i was having. $350.00 • Custom Battery Cables hard starts aftermarket battery and start cable set. $400.00 • Two Optima yellow top batteries (they are older bust still have life in them). Usually around $300.00 a piece new. • Driven Diesel Dipstick adapter kit $300.00 • S&B Cold Air Instake $350.00 • Mag-Hytech transmission pan $400.00 • Manual locking hubs $200.00. • Spec-D fender kit (amazon special never installed) fender kit. $100.00 • A set of Nokian Hakkapaliitta LT2s with one with about one season left on em. $1100. • A set of Cooper Discoverer S/T Max with many seasons left on the. $1100 • Some smaller components I simply dont remember. I am asking $3,500.00 for the whole thing and will not part it out. I am reasonably flexible on the price but not open to trades, I just need the truck gone as I have a newborn and would like some cash. It will need to be towed away. Make me and offer and let's see what we can work out.
