4.0L V6, auto with 4 wheel drive. The engine sounds smooth and the transmission shifts normally. Goodyear all terrain tires with Kevlar, all have good tread and even wear. This was a sheriff's dept vehicle in Morganton, NC. I bought it because they are usually well maintained, it was supposed to be a 2wd and for the low mileage. I knew about the surface rust on the roof but not the rockers. It's 20 years old and runs great but it has it's cosmetic flaws.
