This position offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to various projects while gaining valuable field experience.\r\n\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\n\r\n Conduct inspections and assessments of stormwater systems to evaluate functionality and compliance.\r\n Assist in the maintenance and upgrades of stormwater management facilities.\r\n Collect and analyze water quality samples as part of compliance monitoring.\r\n Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and compliance status.\r\n Collaborate with engineering staff to implement stormwater BMPs (Best Management Practices).\r\n Provide guidance and support to clients regarding stormwater compliance issues.\r\n Participate in public outreach and education efforts related to stormwater management.\r\n Stay updated on local, state, and federal stormwater regulations.\r\n Perform other related technical duties as assigned to support the stormwater compliance team.\r\n Requirements\r\n Associate's degree in Environmental Science, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.\r\n 1-3 years of experience in stormwater management, environmental compliance, or related field, preferred.\r\n Familiarity with stormwater regulations and management practices.\r\n Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data collection methods.\r\n Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.\r\n Ability to work independently and as part of a team.\r\n Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CAD software is a plus.\r\n Ability to travel to various job sites regularly with reliable transportation.\r\n \r\nPhysical Demands:\r\nMust be able to perform inspections in the field, occasionally lifting materials up to 25 pounds. The position may require walking over uneven terrain and exposure to various weather conditions.\r\nWork Conditions:\r\nBased both in an office environment and on-site at various project locations.
