Job Description: Entry level position. We offer training. *Report to the office every day in Brooklyn *Perform plan take-offs, use software to measure and count construction components to ensure accurate project price estimation *Review project plans and specifications to include all necessary job scope details in project pricing *Work with the Lead Estimator to prepare and submit project bids *Ability to interpret field drawings and keep project schedules in regard to drawing submittals *Prepare submittals *Prepare 2 weeks look ahead schedules *Potential site visits to obtain field information for use in shop and coordinate drawings, as-builts, etc. *Use and knowledge of drafting to execute BIM modeling and 3D modeling initiatives but not required *Working knowledge AutoCAD software *Organized & filing oriented *Research of material online *Be able to speak on the phone with vendors and suppliers *Experience & Requirement: *Complete computer skills: Microsoft Office-Word, Excel & Outlook *Experience of materials and general activities *Estimating knowledge is required

Manage promotional materials, publications, media coverage, press guides, new releases, public outreach related to the dissemination of relevant information from the FSD. Review online articles videos and social media posts to align with Facilities Services Division’s media plan and improve outdated information shared to the public or general community where schools are modernized or updated. Develop content to the District website to promote students, teachers, special events and other positive information.
