Large Stone/Tile Contractor based in LIC, NY specializing in commercial and high-end marble tile/slab installation, building facades, masonry stone work, stone/solid surface countertops is looking for an experienced estimator. We only estimate stone and tile work. Must have knowledge of this industry. Responsibilities • Prepare Estimation Quantities/Worksheets from provided Drawings and compose Proposals • Review Scope of work/Contracts documents and align/adjust estimation worksheets/proposals accordingly • Prepare a directory of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors • Prepare cost estimates of materials, labor and equipment Education • Excellent Use of Planswift / Bluebeam • Excellent Use of Excel/Google Sheets • Auto Cad/ Drafting Knowledge a plus!! Qualifications • Several years experience estimating Tile/Stone commercial and high-end projects both interior and exterior Skills • Excellent spreadsheet skills • Ability to work well and within deadlines • Knowledge of blueprint reading • Knowledge of stone assemblies and pricing details • Well organized • Works well in a team Position Type Full-Time
