Cloud Engineer Hybrid Schedule We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using Terraform, Python and AWS technologies. Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain infrastructure as code using Python, Terraform, and AWS. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues. Maintain accurate documentation of software solutions and applications. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience. 6-8 years of experience in software development using Python, Terraform, and AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS, EKS, MSK, etc).  Proficient in software development best practices, including version control (Git), code review, testing, and deployment. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience with Agile methodologies and practices. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain key features of the Storepass platform using Node.js, React.js, Express.js, and MongoDB. - Collaborate with the CEO and other team members to define the product roadmap and architecture. - Ensure scalability, performance, and security across all parts of the platform. - Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues promptly. - Write clean, maintainable, and testable code. - Mentor and guide junior developers as the team grows. - Contribute to strategic decisions around product development, tech stack, and infrastructure. Skills & Qualifications - 4+ years of experience in software development, particularly with JavaScript frameworks. - Proficiency with Node.js, Express.js, React.js, and MongoDB. - Experience with Parse Platform and Docker is a plus. - Strong understanding of RESTful API design. - Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with ecommerce platforms (Shopify, BigCommerce) is a plus. - Passion for building products from the ground up and willingness to take ownership of projects. - Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment. Preferred - Experience with Parse Platform. - Previous experience in ecommerce platforms like Shopify or BigCommerce. - Interest in board games and trading card games.
