Key responsibilities • Infrastructure management: Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network infrastructure across multiple locations, including servers, computers, and networking equipment. • System administration: Manage and support POS systems, back-office software, and other critical applications used in grocery and restaurant operations. • Telephones &Payroll Clocks Repair and Maintenance: Manage phone systems, equipment for time clocks. Manage and support POS systems, back-office software, and other critical applications used in grocery and restaurant operations. • Technical support: Provide help desk support to staff, troubleshoot technical problems, and ensure all systems are running smoothly and efficiently. • Security and compliance: Implement and maintain IT security measures to protect sensitive data, including customer payment information and employee records. • Project management: Lead IT projects, such as system upgrades, new software rollouts, and technology implementations, from planning through completion. • Vendor management: Liaise with third-party vendors for hardware, software, and IT services, ensuring services meet business needs and are cost-effective. • Financial Reporting & Budgeting: Assist CFO with Financial reporting and data management, maintenance, & financial reporting, including planning for capital expenditures, maintenance costs, and operational expenses. Required skills and qualifications • Proven experience in IT management, with a strong understanding of networking, hardware, and software. • Advanced Excel and reporting knowledge required. • Experience with POS systems and other retail/hospitality technologies is often required. • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support staff. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. • Understanding of data security principles and best practices. • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft) can be beneficial.
