An incumbent, progressive candidate for an at-large City Council seat in the Greater Boston Area is seeking a Campaign Manager. You will work directly with the candidate, staff the candidate at city events and debates, with going door-to-door and other public events, and with making phone calls. You will also be responsible for helping to grow and manage the volunteer base. The ideal candidate has past experience working on campaigns and is very well-organized. A successful candidate will be comfortable working campaign hours, greeting voters with the candidate in the early mornings, and does not mind some of the less glamorous aspects of campaign work (i.e., phone calls, canvassing, data entry). This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to establish their campaign and political credentials. Sense of humor and ability to roll with the punches is appreciated! Key Responsibilities: **Working in concert with the Campaign Staff, Campaign Consultants, and the Candidate to develop and implement comprehensive Targeting, Field, and GOTV plans. **Helping to recruit, manage, and motivate volunteers. **Ensuring the successful execution of Targeting, Field and GOTV plans. **Organizing and managing volunteer phone banks and canvasses. **Assistance with the successful completion of all Field-related data entry. **Assistance with advancing campaign messaging and networking via websites, email, publishing videos, etc. Key Qualifications: **Prior political campaign and/or labor organizing experience. **Ability to recruit, manage and motivate volunteers. **Ability to communicate effectively and work well under pressure. **Excellent organizational, time-management, oral and written communications skills. **Ability to manage several tasks/projects concurrently and prioritize work effectively. **Outstanding attention to detail, time management skills and data entry experience. **Knowledge of Votebuilder (VAN) preferred, but will train right candidate. We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Mission Assurance / Antiterrorism (MA/AT) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to serve as the Task Lead (TL) supporting the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Chief of Staff (SOCS). This position plays a critical role in enabling Mission Assurance (MA) and Antiterrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) programs across the SOF Enterprise. TL will serve as the on-site lead for all contractor personnel under this requirement, ensuring effective execution of day-to-day integration, training, and mission support activities. Key Responsibilities: As Task Lead (TL): Serve as the primary contractor interface with the Government Technical Representative and COR. Oversee all assigned contractor personnel, manage workload distribution, address performance concerns, and maintain contract compliance. Provide immediate notification of personnel vacancies and take corrective actions to fill positions with fully qualified staff per contract requirements. As Senior MA/AT SME: Support the operational implementation and execution of SOCOM’s MA/AT program. Deliver government-developed and approved MA/AT training to SOF components and stakeholders. Conduct Force Protection (FP) risk assessments and security engineering analysis. Prepare technical cost-benefit assessments and engineering-based mitigation plans. Execute Vulnerability Assessment and Protection Option (VAPO) analysis or equivalent simulation/modeling solutions. Manage data within the Mission Assurance Risk Management System (MARMS). Contribute to readiness reporting via the Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS). Requirements Required Qualifications: Education & Experience: Candidates must meet one of the following: Option A: Master of Science in Engineering with 3+ years of MA/AT or DCIP-related risk management experience. Option B: Security or Antiterrorism-focused Master’s Degree with 6+ years of experience in: Blast analysis and mitigation Infrastructure engineering Risk management Option C: Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or Industrial Engineering with 6+ years of MA/AT or DCIP risk management experience. Additional Requirements: 5+ years of experience in DoD Security Engineering, per UFC 04-020 series. 5+ years of experience in VAPO analysis and Force Protection planning. 10+ years of experience supporting, working with, or embedded in USSOCOM or a subordinate SOF organization. 10+ years of experience preparing senior-level written products for GO/FO/SES decision-makers.
