Building Maintenance Worker Salary: $4,304.76 - $5,232.18 Monthly Located in Sacramento, CA. This is a continuous filing exam. Next filing cut-offs are at 5:00 pm on: 7/29/2025, 8/26/2025, and 9/23/2025(final) Under supervision, the Building Maintenance Worker performs a variety of semiskilled work in the maintenance and repair of buildings and building facilities; performs minor repairs and preventive maintenance of appliance; and does other related duties. Minimum Qualifications: One year of experience in general building maintenance or in the maintenance and minor repair of machinery, appliances and electric motors, preferably in an institutional setting. Note: If the word "experience" is referenced in the minimum qualifications, it means full-time paid experience unless the minimum qualification states that volunteer experience is acceptable.
