As an Electrician at SES, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical components of solar energy systems. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth within our rapidly expanding company. Responsibilities: Install electrical systems for residential, commercial, and utility-scale solar projects. Maintain and repair electrical components of solar energy systems, including inverters, wiring, and solar panels. Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards. Troubleshoot electrical issues and determine appropriate solutions. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure successful project completion. Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used. Requirements: Valid electrician license or certification. Minimum of 2 years of experience as an electrician. Experience in the solar or renewable energy industry is a plus. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components. Proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints. Attention to detail and commitment to following safety protocols. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Good communication skills. Ensure work area is left clean, all equipment and tools are stowed away safely and protected against damage. Requirements Minimum 2 years of shipyard or Naval (machinist mate) experience. DBIDS eligibility required. Must have reliable/own transportation. Must be fire watch certified. 11 panel Drug Screen Comfortable with heights Lift 50lbs without assistance Must understand the layout of the ship and compartment identification. Basic reading, writing and math skills required. Strong mechanical aptitude required. Knowledge of ship terminology required. Proven ability to interpret engineering drawings. Demonstrated ability to safely operate all fixed and non-fixed machinery. Ability set up machinery to meet flatness tolerance requirements. Demonstrated ability to interpret job specifications. Ability to perform work on marine vessels. Must be able to follow directions and work with limited supervision. Proven problem-solving abilities. WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: Background in vehicle repair. Detailed knowledge of ADL products and procedures. Certified and licensed Mechanic Minimum 5 year’s experience on ADL Enviro range of low emission buses or similar. Communicative skills in written, oral, and electronic. Experience of vehicle maintenance procedures and operation. Have a high level of electrical knowledge and experience, coupled with strong fault diagnostic capabilities Hold a Full Valid Driving Licence and ideally hold a current PCV or Commercial Driving Licence A good level of computer literacy is required to operate laptop diagnostic equipment. As the position will be “field based” the successful applicant will need to be self-motivated and able to communicate with Customers and Colleagues at all levels. A good understanding of modern EPA diesel engines and exhaust gas processors including DEF injection, pneumatic braking systems including anti-lock, automatic gearboxes, multiplex electrics using J1939 protocol and the principles of electricity. Be able to identify and describe the function of electrical components, read circuit diagrams and carry out fault tree diagnosis.  Must have own tools.
