Job type:  Full time, Hybrid (3 or more days in office) Locations:  3131 Camino del Rio N, Ste 650, San Diego, CA 92108 Role Summary: The company is looking for a skilled, forward-thinking contributor to design and deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions on the Salesforce platform. The Salesforce Developer will report to the Engineering Manager and will be responsible for building custom components, automations, and integrations that meet evolving business needs. The Salesforce Developer is expected to improve data flows, automate workflows, modernize our platform, and support system health through environment management, deployment processes, and strong documentation practices. This individual will be a key enabler of operational efficiency and technical excellence.   What you will do: Design, develop, and maintain custom components using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, and Flows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions within Salesforce. Develop and maintain integrations with internal and external systems using Connected Apps, APIs, and secure authentication protocols. Own and improve environment strategy, manage change sets, and contribute to deployment automation using version control tools. Refactor legacy code, decouple hardcoded elements, and ensure that solutions scale across users, teams, and environments. Support and enhance data model integrity, validation logic, and performance tuning. Identify technical debt and system limitations, propose solutions, and drive maintainability improvements. Contribute to documentation, audit readiness, and architectural decisions related to Salesforce and its role in our broader system ecosystem. Requirements What we are looking for:   Required Skills & Experience Hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, Aura Components, Flows, and Triggers. Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and declarative development tools. Experience managing Salesforce environments, change sets, and coordinating deployments. Strong knowledge of SOQL, and ability to write and optimize queries. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows. Understanding of API integrations and Connected Apps. Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments, including sprint planning and backlog refinement. Nice to Haves Experience with Python or other scripting languages. Object-oriented programming background in Java or C#. Exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Node.js). Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., Firestore, MongoDB). Familiarity with Azure, GCP, or other cloud infrastructure. Exposure to test automation frameworks and Selenium for UI testing. The salary range for this position is $110,000-$120,000. Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to the applicant’s skills, work experience, knowledge, abilities, education, etc. Note that this range may not apply to employees based outside of California. Reporting to the Lead Technical Project Manager, this role will support the Operations Team and other internal stakeholders to investigate business challenges designing and delivering custom-built solutions that support operational success. You will develop tools to optimize workflows, integrate systems, and manage our data pipelines.
