Administrative Assistant needed for busy behavioral health practice. Position requires strong computer, writing, interpersonal, organizational, and independence skills. Duties include attending to phone calls, scheduling, coordination of intakes, help with billing, support for psychologists in practice, and other office tasks. The position is twenty hours per week, Monday through Friday, and 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Key Responsibilities: Assist the oral surgeon with surgical procedures, including extractions, dental implants, and biopsies. Provide chairside assistance during IV sedation and nitrous oxide cases, monitoring patient vitals and comfort in accordance with safety protocols. Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, supplies, and operatory setup with strict adherence to infection control and sterilization standards. Take and process digital dental radiographs (X-rays). Educate patients on pre- and post-operative instructions and sedation protocols. Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively, recognizing and responding appropriately to patient needs. Maintain accurate and detailed surgical and patient records. Collaborate closely with the front office and surgical teams for seamless patient care and scheduling.
