I am looking for someone to work Wednesday and Thursday mornings (6:30 - 11 am) and someone to work several evenings during the week/weekend (8:30 - 10:30 PM). About me: I live with my wife in a home near the University of Washington. I have a full-time job in real estate and enjoy working, reading, and spending time with family and friends. All of this is possible for me with the support of my great care team. Each caregiver is communicative, reliable, and works well individually and as part of a team. My wife and I focus on creating a positive work environment, and my caregivers are focused on providing me with as much independence as possible. About my care: I have one caregiver work each shift every morning and every evening. My morning care involves transfers (with a ceiling lift), full assist shower, bowel program (every other day), dressing, cooking, stretching upper and lower extremities, housekeeping and other supportive tasks. Driving my wheelchair van is often also part of this shift.
