I am pleased to offer for sale this restored 1989 Land Rover defender 110 V8 county Station wagon. This Land Rover defender has recently undergone a full restoration with the following being the major points. new paint in its original LR Saravin White with the doors being sound proofed re skinned with new hinges and cards. Contrasting Black powder coated diamond plate has been added with all new door seals and window rubbers all around and a new windshield. Full LED light conversion with a swing away spare wheel carrier. The engine has been gone through and had the original SU carbs rebuilt along with a new clutch and electronic ignition as well as various other smaller components. Also fitted is a custom made straight through exhaust with a glass pack to enhance that V8 rumble. The running gear has been lifted 2 inches from its original height to incorporate larger new 275/65/16 cooper tires on freshly powder coated black OEM LR Boost rims with 30mm wheel spacers which vastly improves its stance and handling. There is also an option where you can have either silver or black boost rims instead of the gold. Terrafirma shock absorbers/springs new timco wheel bearings. The underside has been sand blasted and coated to prevent rust. The interior has had a new headliner fitted in black suede effect along with new Exmoor trim carpets after the whole vehicle was fitted with sound deadening material. All in all this is a very nice looking Defender 110 that stands out from the rest available at this price point. The major bonus of this vehicle it is a rare factory V8 aluminium block which sounds fantastic with the new custom exhaust. Another added benefit is it comes with a brand new Terrafirma winch bumper if you should so wish and a low mileage spare engine that only has 33,000 miles on it. so if the new owner would care to customise it with a holly 4barrel or oversize race cams they can do so to squeeze out some extra horses. LR V8 aluminium block engines were the main stay of a whole list of vehicles in the United Kingdom such as Range Rovers, Land Rover MG’s Triumphs, Morgan’s & TVR’s to name a few and are pretty much indestructible. With most Land Rover defenders that are restored ranging from anywhere from 100,000 to $250k for LS conversions this is a very reasonably priced well put together vehicle for its price point. I recommend looking at other vehicles for a similar price and then seeing this one afterwards because I am confident that it stands out from the rest both Aesthetically and mechanically.
