Our laundromat is located in the North Beach area of San Francisco. We are looking for a Laundry Attendant to join our team! This is a part-time position working 2 DAYS A WEEK! The hours are 2:30pm-10pm Saturday and Sunday. We offer "Wash and Fold" services where customers pay us to wash, dry, and fold their clothes and "Self-Service" where customers come into our laundromat and wash their clothes themselves. Job Responsibilities: - MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 30 LBS -Must have amazing customer service skills - Sorting linens, towels, clothing, and other laundry items by color, size, and material - Wrapping laundry items for pickup or delivery to customers and hospitality guests - Washing items with commercial laundry equipment following proper sanitization protocols - Cleaning and maintaining laundry room area and equipment - Unloading laundry from commercial dryers - Stocking laundry supplies such as detergent, bleach, laundry bags, and fabric softener - Creating laundry tags with identifiable customer information - Creating invoices for laundry orders You will need the following: - Excellent customer service skills when handling customer and guest requests - Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks throughout each shift - Attention to detail when sorting colored items and handling delicate fabrics - Problem-solving skills for addressing customer issues and complaints Benefits: - You can do your laundry for free! - Bonus and Tips!
