A well established personal injury firm, located in downtown Olympia, is looking for a full time paralegal with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in personal injury litigation. As a new member of our team, you will enjoy working closely with a passionate group of individuals who are dedicated to providing the highest quality service to our valued clients. This position will involve working side-by-side with clients, our lead paralegal, our legal assistant, and the attorneys. You will manage multiple aspects of the claim including providing significant litigation support. This position needs an extremely organized self-starter who is able to multi-task and is familiar with personal injury and insurance law. Responsibilities include opening files, drafting letters, collecting and organizing medical records, managing client's medical expenses, drafting demands, drafting and filing pleadings, drafting discovery responses, calendaring, preparing settlement statements, negotiating liens, providing client support, drafting prehearing statements, and providing assistance with trial preparation. Strong writing skills are essential as well as excellent client relationship and interpersonal skills.
