Job description: ANIK is a transit research data collection firm. Seeking all Bilingual Experience Ambassadors- Field Interviewers. For a project starting Sep 22nd, 2025 for AC Transit. This is an entry level customer service position. You will be hired to conduct interviews with riders onboard. It is a tablet survey, plotting start and end locations on Google Maps for market research to improve transit in the Oakland area. Schedule will be 5 days each week, between M-Sun. (excluding holidays). Project Dates: Sep 23- Dec, 2025 Shift Times: AM, 5:00am-1:00pm; PM, 2:00pm-10:00pm approx. (May vary by route, earliest shift start 5am, latest pm shift end's 10pm) Training Date: Monday, September 22, 2025 (Mandatory) Hours: 32- 40 hours per week. Pay rate: $25.00 per hour ( Semi-monthly payroll) Report Location Report locations will be throughout the East Bay area. Parking may be available at some locations while others may not have parking. Responsibilities Experience Ambassadors are responsible for: Arriving at their pre-scheduled location on time. Connect in-person with travelers to request their participation in a 5 minute questionnaire. Conduct one on one interviews, passengers will not use the tablet. Return to starting location to return equipment, receive supervisor feedback, and receive a report time and location for the following day. Qualifications Self-motivated and able to work independently. Punctual. Outgoing and natural communicator. Bilingual in English and any other language is encouraged, but not required. Excited about community improvement and innovation. Ability to stand on moving transportation for extended periods. Proficient in Apple iPad and Google maps.
