It is a critical engineering role in the manufacturing process. The qualified candidate will have a direct impact on the company's manufacturing capability, efficiency, and productivity. Requirements: -Experience in cable assembly and/or electro mechanical assembly industry in the manufacturing environment. -Experience in using connectors, terminals, wires, cables, shrink tubing and various other cable assembly products. -Experience in creating assembly SOP by using AutoCAD or other CAD software. -Experience in internet electronic components sourcing and be able to cross or find equivalent parts. -Must be able to read and understand blueprints, manufacturer's data sheets/spec sheets, fabrication diagrams and assembly. -Proficient with Excel, Word, and CAD software. -Must be able to work well both independently and as part of a cross-functional team, including multi-tasking capabilities. -Must be detail oriented with the ability to meet or exceed deadlines. -Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills. Responsibilities: -Create SOP for all new jobs to production floor daily. -Provide instant engineering support to production floor. -Process ECRs (engineering change requests). -Work closely internally with Production, Quoting, Engineering and Sales to ensure each job is built correctly and efficiently. Other duties may be assigned. • Transport within San Francisco, San Mateo and Santa Clara counties in a vehicle using safe driving practices. • Pick up and deliver wildlife to Conservation Center. • Provide humane handling and care for all wild animals in care. • Ensure all animals are safely and adequately confined at the time of transport. • Ensure all available paperwork and background information related to animal intake is collected from intake sites and accompanies the animal to the Conservation Center. • Abide by all traffic laws and use safe driving practices while maintaining a PHS/SPCA vehicle in a clean and orderly manner, stocked with the necessary equipment. • Operate a two-way radio in a professional manner. • Maintain a daily activity report. • Communicate professionally and effectively with coworkers, volunteers, and representatives from other organizations. • Work quickly and effectively under pressure to deliver animals efficiently to the Conservation Center. • Occasionally assist with wildlife releases. • Provide assistance to Wildlife Rehabilitation Department as assigned. • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure a positive public image, enhance the operation of the organization, and improve the quality of life for animals. • Report items for repair/replacement as needed to appropriate supervisory staff.
