Responsibilities: - Safely and efficiently pick up and deliver items from our Queens location to designated client locations within specified timeframes. - Utilize a personal vehicle for all deliveries, ensuring it is well-maintained and in good working order. - Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers using a personal cellphone and provided walkie-talkie radio. - Download and proficiently use our company's delivery application on a smartphone for receiving orders, accessing delivery route, directions, and tracking deliveries. - Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations. - Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service during all interactions. - Accurately verify contents of deliveries and obtain necessary required signatures. - Report any issues or delays to dispatch promptly. Requirements: - Must own and operate a reliable personal vehicle suitable for deliveries. - Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record. - Proof of valid automobile insurance with adequate coverage. - Able to work flexible schedule (we are open 7 days / 8am - 9pm) - Must own a smartphone (iOS or Android) capable of downloading and running mobile applications. - Demonstrated ability to download and effectively use mobile applications for navigation and job management. - Ability to use and communicate clearly over a walkie-talkie radio. - Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with the local service area. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. - Punctual and reliable. - Ability to lift and carry 10-20 lbs as needed. - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
