Join the Slows Bar BQ team as a Catering Delivery Driver! We're looking for individuals who are professional and punctual, embodying the Slows spirit while delivering our delicious food to customers. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring that orders reach their destinations safely and on time, while also providing excellent customer service. Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook is required, as you'll also often assist with catering event setup. Key Responsibilities: Deliver customer orders using company vehicles in a safe, timely manner Stay in contact with the Catering Manager throughout the delivery process Inspect and accurately assemble catering and delivery orders Conduct daily deliveries to our flagship restaurant on Michigan Avenue and our upcoming location in Berkley Receive and stock incoming shipments correctly Perform general cleaning and maintenance to keep the delivery vehicles in good condition Assist with kitchen prep tasks between deliveries Help out with off-site vending as needed Requirements Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of delivery driver experience Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record Proof of car insurance Excellent customer service skills and experience with cash handling Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Physical Requirements: Ability to consistently lift up to 70 pounds Comfortable with bending, twisting, and grasping to move large items Able to read and utilize GPS for navigation Experience sitting in confined spaces during driving Benefits Competitive Pay Paid Time Off Insurance Eligibility for FT employees

Delivery Coordination Coordinate delivery schedules with customers and ensure timely arrival at designated locations. Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any special requests or requirements. Customer Orientation Provide comprehensive orientations to customers upon delivery of their RVs, covering topics such as vehicle features, operation of systems (e.g., HVAC, appliances, electrical), maintenance guidelines, and safety protocols. Demonstration and Training  Demonstrate how to operate RV features and amenities effectively, including slide-outs, leveling systems, awnings, entertainment systems, and more.  Offer hands-on training and answer any questions to ensure customers feel confident using their RVs. Retail Store Walk  Walk the customer through the Camptown offering the proper accessories needed to use the RV.    Documentation and Paperwork Complete delivery documentation accurately, including delivery reports, inspection checklists, and customer sign-offs. Ensure all paperwork is processed in a timely manner and in compliance with company policies and regulations. Customer Support Serve as a point of contact for customers post-delivery, offering ongoing support and assistance as needed. Address any concerns or technical issues promptly and professionally, and escalate complex issues to the appropriate department. Relationship Building  Foster positive relationships with customers by delivering exceptional service and demonstrating genuine enthusiasm for their RV lifestyle.  Follow up with customers after delivery to ensure satisfaction and encourage feedback. Final Hitch Demonstration Demonstrate how to properly hitch the RV to the vehicle. Per policy disconnect hitch and have the customer hook to their unit without assistance (we do not hook the trailer up for the customer) Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training, certifications, or relevant college coursework in Business, Management, or RV operations is a plus. Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in RV operations, customer service, or a related field preferred; leadership or project management experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of RV systems, features, and safe towing procedures, with the ability to clearly educate and guide customers. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly, professional, and customer-focused demeanor. Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficient with basic computer systems, including Google Workspace and dealer management software (e.g., Sys2K). Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; must be comfortable operating RVs of varying sizes. Willingness to work weekends and flexible hours; occasional travel for deliveries may be required. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching during vehicle demonstrations, inspections, and customer orientations. Ability to safely enter, exit, and maneuver in and around RVs, including motorhomes and towable units. Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs, including equipment, tools, or accessories needed for demonstrations or deliveries. Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate RV controls, demonstrate features, and perform inspections. Ability to safely hitch and unhitch towable RVs following company policy. Visual and auditory ability to safely operate RVs, navigate dealership lots and delivery sites, and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
