my late uncle :( who past away last year left me his Lenovo ThinkPad X240 as a sentinel gift of goodbye 4 day before he died , i had fan warning message and as well it was over heating and i being a computer tech (not laptop much)..i opened it up to see if it needed a paste for the cpu and when i removed the plastic cover to take a look at it, i was shocked to see the fan ribbon cable not attached not inside of the connector!! and than i looked at it the connector itself zoomed in with a phone and it's "Broken"! and no closing Tab (missing) thats holds and claps the cable in place! as if the ribbon cable was glued or some how to the connector! wtf's BUT i do know my late uncle did Once taken it to a shop to have the internal battery Replaced (it has two batteries One internal and One external ) sooo maybe they f.ed up the cable when replacing the battery? and didn't say nada and didn't fix it as it should be and just glued it or something?? so i need this connector replaced ot reGlue that fan to it because without fan it will not BOOT! and YES i know this laptop as of right sells on ebay for 85 to 120 mint i know i know its not worth paying to fix it BUT it was a sentinel gift from my late uncle so if you can fix it or glue it under 35 bux give me a call or txt me show contact info AL dont email pls..i just need it to boot and work "sentinel gift "
