As an after-school youth Soccer Coach at Super Soccer Stars, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of young athletes aged 5-12. Our mission is to teach fundamental soccer skills in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment. You will play a crucial role in nurturing a love for the game and helping children develop not just as players, but as well-rounded individuals. This part-time position offers flexibility and competitive pay. You’ll work with passionate coaches who are dedicated to creating positive experiences for our players both on and off the field! WHAT MAKES OUR COACHES STARS They use individual attention to ensure every child experiences success. They create a stress-free environment through a non-competitive, fun approach. They use positive reinforcement to motivate children and celebrate progress. They have a blast! Our coaches are open-minded, value feedback, and view coaching as a continuous journey. All coaches attend training and follow the Amazing Athletes Coaching Manual & Curriculum. Requirements Requirements: Must be at least 21 years old Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and be willing to travel to locations in Cumming, Suwanee, Canton, Gainesville, Woodstock, and Lawrenceville Ideally based within 30 minutes of one or more of our service areas Must be willing to undergo fingerprinting and pass a Georgia comprehensive background check Must have access to a mobile device for scheduling and class management Must be available weekday afternoons, ideally between 2:30 PM and 6:30 PM Must be available to start immediately, with a few hours of training each week Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with children and/or a background in sports (especially soccer) Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with kids effectively Positive attitude, energetic, and enthusiastic about coaching Passion for working with kids and inspiring young athletes Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and follow program guidelines Desire to grow with our expanding team and make a long-term impact Key Responsibilities: Conduct soccer classes that cater to various skill levels and promote an enjoyable learning experience. Teach fundamental soccer skills while emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal development. Provide positive reinforcement to encourage player growth and confidence. Communicate effectively with players and parents regarding progress and development. Maintain a safe, organized, and fun environment for all participants. What You’ll Do As a coach at Veritas Prep you’ll help continue to build a strong sports program, developing student athletes in the areas of knowledge, physical skill, teamwork, leadership, and social and emotional growth.
