Utility Cleaner– Joint Base Anacostia- Bolling Competitive Wages and Employer Paid Health Insurance! Utility Cleaners will be responsible for the cleanliness of communal spaces, restrooms, workspaces, and outside areas as assigned and performs a variety of duties that involve sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, dusting and polishing of surfaces and floors; removing trash; re-stocking supplies; and cleaning restrooms. Salary $31.79/ hr. plus employer paid health benefits and pension! Key Responsibilities Mop tile and concrete floor areas and vacuum carpeted areas Sweep, dust, scrub, wax, buff, and strip floors as necessary Clean and disinfect restrooms, including but not limited to urinals, toilets, toilet seats, sinks, mirrors, fixtures, hand dryers, floors, walls, showers and locker rooms Clean and disinfect breakroom and kitchen tables, sinks, counters, and refrigerator Empty waste baskets and interior and perimeter garbage cans and place garbage in outside storage bins Dust furniture, equipment, blinds, and light fixtures Clean mirrors and interior window surfaces and surrounding areas Clean entrances and exits, washing finger marks from glass, doors, walls and hardware, and keeping outside area clear of pebbles, snow, cans, paper, etc. Clean and disinfect drinking fountains Report damage and acts of vandalism and report and/or perform minor maintenance repairs Use cleaning equipment, including electric floor buffers, commercial vacuums, wet mops, large wringers and other necessary equipment, tools, and supplies Refill hand soap and paper towel dispensers and re-stock toilet paper as needed Mix and use cleaning chemicals and products in accordance with instructions Ensure cleaning materials and supplies are stored in a safe and orderly manner and an adequate supply is maintained. Move and/or relocate furniture Comply with all established general and industrial safety rules and regulations as applicable to the contract, facility and job assignment Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested Essential Skills Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products and equipment Knowledge of the Hazardous Materials Information System Ability to read and understand instructions and labels, particularly on the use and application of cleaning chemicals and products Requirements High School diploma or equivalent MUST have Top Secret clearance 1 year experience in Custodial field in the last three years including floor care-stripping, waxing, buffing Valid Driver's License compliant with REAL ID Act or are you willing and able to obtain one Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check Regular, dependable attendance U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain access to military installations Preferred Qualifications TS/SCI Physical Requirements Must be able to carry, push, pull and lift up to 40 pounds. As a High Rise Technician, you’ll be an integral part of our team, supporting our client base at a high-rise level via rope descent system. Safely repel high-rise buildings via rope descent system to reach and cleanse the windows. Communicate with site contact before, during, and after completion of work, and retrieve customer endorsement on work order. Transport and set-up water-fed poles to clean windows of multi-story buildings, and subsequent breakdown of equipment. Effectively clean up after each job to ensure there is no residue or dirt left behind. Ensure that the company vehicle is clean, maintained, and adequately stocked with window cleaning supplies at all times. Attend weekly safety meetings. Who You Are You have 1+ year(s) of relative experience safely repelling high-rise buildings. You have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. You have reliable transportation to/from work and job sites. You have a clean-cut appearance and able to adhere to our dress code. You are able to lift up to 60lbs. You are able to scale and utilize ladders from 5ft to 40ft in height (safety training provided). You are able to work both indoors and outdoors during variable weather conditions. We are currently seeking a dedicated Night Compliance Manager to join our team and support our growing portfolio of accounts. The Night Compliance Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring quality control across various business operations, enhancing client satisfaction, and collaborating effectively with Independent Contractors. This position requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in diverse facility environments, including industrial, manufacturing, office, medical, retail, and more. Additionally, the Night Compliance Manager must demonstrate sound judgment when addressing client concerns, escalating issues to management when necessary, and coordinating with others to meet clients’ needs effectively. Requirements Develop and maintain productive, working relationships with Independent Contractors (IC) and In-House labor by communicating client priorities and collaborating on solving problems. Review scope of work and ensure quality assurance per account to retain existing business and gain new business. Communicate with Facility Solutions Manager daily for any issues that need immediate attention, including the nightly recap via email or phone message. Make recommendations for IC work assignments, manage to client standards and company guidelines and discharge if not meeting service level agreement. Manage inspections, customer complaints, customer requests, new client starts, or VIP treatment needing attention. Execute City Wide’s New-Start Policy, Customer Compliant Policy, Four Star Policy, and other operational policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with client policies & procedures, approved cleaning tools and equipment and their proper use.
