Innovative Concrete, LLC is excited to announce a unique opportunity for military personnel transitioning to civilian life through the DoD SkillBridge program as a Commercial Concrete Field Engineer in North Dakota. This position allows candidates to leverage their military training and experience to gain valuable skills in the concrete and construction industry while supporting our Innovative projects. As a Concrete Field Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of concrete projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, managing quality control measures, and liaising between project managers and field teams. This role requires a strong understanding of concrete materials and construction practices, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.   Key Responsibilities: Assist in managing daily operations of concrete projects at various job sites. Review and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications. Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations. Conduct site inspections and quality control assessments to verify the integrity of materials and workmanship. Communicate project progress and challenges with stakeholders and team members. Assist in the training and development of crew members on best practices and safety measures. Prepare project reports, including documentation of materials used, labor costs, and safety compliance. Requirements Qualifications: Must be transitioning military personnel eligible for the DoD SkillBridge program. Must receive commanding officer approval to participate Understanding of construction principles, particularly in concrete work. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with diverse teams. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. Experience in project management or a related field is a plus. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening. Reporting to the Chief of Design, the successful candidate is responsible for directing all Traffic Engineering Services for the Client’s Capital and Operating Programs, as well as Operational Support for the Aviation, Tunnels, Bridges and Terminals, PATH, WTC, and Port Departments, and serves as the Traffic Engineering subject matter expert, providing guidance and advisory services to senior Client’s executives. Traffic Engineering role can be best defined as the DOT of the Client and it has the unique and critical Agency responsibility to establish and implement the rules and regulations for the public-facing multi-modal transportation system. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Ability to analyze, design, and detail local, State DOT bridge projects under the supervision of Senior level engineers. Other responsibilities may include report preparation, field reconnaissance and inspection. Attend meetings and conferences when necessary/required.     Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (with concentration in structural engineering) from an ABET Accredited College. 2 to 5 years of experience PE License Experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD, SAP2000, Midas Civil, EnerCalc, and MathCAD is a plus. RMF Engineering is seeking a 5+ year experienced Civil Designer for its growing Infrastructure Division in the Raleigh, NC Office.    About the Civil/Structural Division: The Civil/Structural Division provides engineering services for district energy utility distribution systems for University, Healthcare, and Government clients.  Designs include site development, thermal and power utilities, and complex phasing plans for projects that support campus expansions and sustainability projects. Position Description: Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to generate construction document drawing sets for civil infrastructure and utility projects (including site plans, profiles, details, erosion and sediment control, stormwater management, phasing plans, and traffic and pedestrian control). Develop visual renderings and exhibits of design options. Coordinate with other in-house civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers. Perform site visits to verify existing conditions and inspect construction progress. Assist in training co-ops and interns. New hires will work directly with experienced PE’s and designers, and receive dedicated software, engineering, and design training.
