We are seeking a Senior Highway Engineer/Project Manager with 10+ years of professional experience to be an integral part of H&H’s transportation team. This position requires a highway lead for our engineering team in Fort Lauderdale. This position will primarily serve South Florida, including FDOT’s Districts 4 and 6, and Broward, Collier, Lee, and Palm Beach Counties. In this position, you will be the main contact between H&H and the client, coordinate with subconsultants and will be responsible for assisting with marketing efforts such as: project identification, client visits, proposals, and presentations. Discipline Leader, this position is responsible for leading a team of project managers, design professionals and technical support staff working with public sector (Municipal and State agency) clients and projects throughout the Capital District. The position is in our Albany (Latham), NY office. Responsibilities Project development, client interaction, project management and technical design primarily for public sector clients (municipal, county, state and non-profit) Project management responsibilities include development of professional services proposals, management of projects and clients, development of technical approaches to projects, and participation in public presentations/engagement process. As a project manager, you will develop projects with clients and then oversee and manage the project design and construction while interfacing with the client. Managing the project design requires interacting with less experience staff along with training and mentoring them. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering 15-20 years of practical experience in a professional consulting environment Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) NY is required. Candidate must be experienced in civil/environmental engineering with a preferred focus on all facets of water resources engineering.
