Responsibilities Prepare a variety of fresh ingredients for daily menu items Cook authentic Mexican tacos and sides in accordance with Rusty Taco standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines during food preparation Assist in menu planning and the development of new dishes Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and kitchen procedures Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant kitchen or cooking environment Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Passion for cooking and dedication to preparing quality food Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends Basic knife skills and knowledge of various cooking methods
