Welcome to the Aviation Industry! This is a next level position that includes order fulfilment, packaging, shipping documentation preparation including international transport, and freight handling. On the receiving side, accuracy is paramount. As an aviation company we are under stringent FAA guidelines to ensure detailed records are kept ensuring all parts are airworthy. We are looking for someone with high attention to detail in a quickly changing environment; along with the ability to communicate efficiently with offsite team members to ensure proper timely order fulfillment. We require a high school diploma and 1-3 years shipping/receiving experience. This is a dynamic position in a quickly growing company. Wages dependent upon experience. The Role We’re hiring a Production Assistant to support day-to-day sample development, vendor communication, and production tracking. You’ll partner with Operations and Product to keep calendars, POs, and quality moving—end to end. This is a New York–based, on-site role in our Manhattan studio. Responsibilities Vendor Communication (Mandarin): Coordinate daily with overseas factories (email/WeChat); translate specs, confirm materials/finishes, and clarify sample comments and revisions. Sample Development: Open sample requests, track rounds, label/organize incoming samples, record comments, and route approvals. PO + Timeline Management: Create/update POs, WIP trackers, and production calendars; follow up on milestones (materials in, bulk start, QC, ship date). Specs & BOMs: Maintain accurate tech packs/BOMs (measurements, color/finish, hardware, packaging, GS1 barcodes, inner/outer packs, carton marks).
