Job Purpose: We are seeking a highly experienced SAP FI Analyst to provide expert-level guidance and configuration support for Navy ERP's SAP Financial Accounting (FI) module. This role demands a deep understanding of business processes related to financial operations and requires someone capable of designing and optimizing solutions that support general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, cash management, and posting periods. The candidate will play a key role in high-impact projects that demand advanced technical insight and cross-functional collaboration. Requirements Key Responsibilities Analyze business needs and configure the SAP FI module to meet financial and operational requirements. Collaborate with key stakeholders to manage posting periods and financial reporting structures. Design and implement system enhancements to improve financial automation and compliance. Ensure integration between FI and other SAP modules, especially logistics and controlling (CO). Lead and guide large teams of SAP functional and technical professionals. Act as a subject matter expert to support reporting, interfaces, and enhancements across the platform. Required Qualifications At least 10 years of hands-on experience with SAP, specifically in the SAP FI module. Strong expertise in SAP Financial Accounting, including configuration and optimization. Solid understanding of FI-CO integration and its impact on logistics modules. Excellent communication and organizational skills to gather and translate business requirements into SAP solutions. Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or related field; alternatively, 4 additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in place of a degree. Must hold an active DoD Secret clearance. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of focused experience specifically in SAP FI. Familiarity with Navy ERP or Department of Defense IT environments. Previous experience supporting federal government projects. Knowledge of change management methodologies in large enterprise systems. Broad experience in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) including: Requirements gathering Business analysis and solution design Development and technical documentation Testing (unit, functional, integration, regression, UAT) Deployment and post-production support Experience delivering both standard and customized SAP solutions.
