1950 Schwinn Red Phantom BFG restoration vintage American - $2,300 (san anselmo)

1950 Schwinn Red Phantom with BF Goodrich badging from the sale at the SF tire store... ORIGINAL OWNER LOCAL BIKE: this bike has just received a complete mechanical overhaul and some upgrades to complete the original Phantom look... this was the gentlemans childhood bike in San Francisco where he delivered newspapers in "the avenues" when he was a yute... many years ago he decided to restore his bike, a high quality paint job was applied with some new incorrect parts... this bike was not ridden after the paint and assembly, and it sat in a stand in their living room until now... the paint work is VERY NICE, excellent quality, no intel on who sprayed it...if you wanted a rare Red Phantom, this would get you in the ballpark... rolling on original S2's, New Departure rear coaster, and Schwinn script front hubs... this is a very nice rider, 2300.00
