Job Overview: As a Diesel Technician at TA Travel Center, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines and related systems in our fleet of vehicles and equipment. Key responsibilities include: Conducting inspections and diagnostics on diesel engines to identify repairs needed. Performing routine maintenance, such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Repairing and replacing faulty components, including electrical systems, fuel systems, and mechanical parts. Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including time spent and parts used. Adhering to safety protocols and best practices in all work activities. Requirements To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in diesel mechanics or automotive technology preferred. Proven experience working as a Diesel Technician or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and diagnostics. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
