2005 Astro Van with Locking Tool Boxes - $6,500 (Northgate)

2005 Astro Van with Locking Tool Boxes. I'm a recently retired carpenter. This is my work van, and my daily driver for the last 7 years. All maintenance and repair was done by Chucks Auto Repair at 90th and Roosevelt. Expensive, but good. The big Knaack box has a bit of patina, but it has kept my tools safe for 35 years- including 3 break-ins. The Adrian Steel cabinet came with the van, which I bought from Harris Electric. Recent work includes New fuel pump, alternator, injectors, all leaks sealed and more. Currently ready for a new catalytic converter. The exhaust rattles when you start it up on a cold morning, and when you stop at a stop sign or red light. The tool boxes are also a little noisy... The van runs and drives perfectly. I wouldn't hesitate to do a long road trip in it. 147k miles and going strong. 2005 was the last, and best Astro Van ever made. (My 4th one- I had an 89, a 92 and a 99) Perfect van for a tradesperson. Small enough to fit into parking garages...big enough to carry full sheets of plywood and lots of tools...
