Desert Valley Winds community concert band wants musicians to join us (Tempe)

The Desert Valley Winds community band seeks musicians to join our growing community band. We especially need tubas, trumpets, French horns, and baritones. We also need trombones, clarinets, oboes, bassoons, bass clarinets, flutes, saxophones and percussionists. Any band instrument player who would like to join us is welcome, regardless of instrument or skill level. We welcome returning players, new players, seasoned veteran players, come one, come all. Current members have varying skill levels and we have fun playing great together! We are a non-profit community concert band that was formed in October of 2022. We play a fun mix of patriotic tunes, show tunes, movie scores, marches, symphony and classic concert music. We pride ourselves in focusing on being entertaining and have been called “The Most Entertaining Band in the Valley”. We practice in central Tempe on Saturdays from 9:30-11:30 AM. We usually play about a show a month on average, sometimes more often, sometimes less. Our shows are usually free and open to all. Come and join us for a lot of fun music!
