Hello! Deep into melodic rock(?) over here. Original stuff, ftmp only, is the flavor of the day. Whomever it may be, please know I am very liberal and chill and do not really drink and am happily taken. If this can work, read on! The music: Heavy but memorable. Could be played on acoustics and still sound dope! Whistling our melodies in their cars, people will! Dance-able riffs everywhere with soaring melodies and hella catchy choruses all combined with face-melting solos and heavy grooves! Dreamland is Myles Kennedy or Axl Rose type or at least that type of range. Corey Glover? Let's do some Living Colour shit. I have the chops! A little bit like Alanis or a little cray like Fiona? Yes that is perhaps asking a lot, but I can match you! I play guitar mainly and have a TON of good music that needs words and melodies and grooves and meat on the bones. Totally willing to accept input and influence on this unfinished music while also creating more together. I'm fluent on drums and bass and have a piano here at the house for writing/practicing purposes. Would perhaps be willing to kick in $$ on a proper space for the right fits. I am getting ready to record an EP with some acoustic songs (which I'll sing) and would like some harmonies for those and then I'd like to put two bangers at the end and I probably can't sing those songs properly like they deserve... I believe in self love and healing and my (personal choice, nbd) lyrics largely reflect that! Um, influences are tough... metalhead since forever then played in lots of bands with lots of different people and learned and learned. Fusion really seems to be the best descriptor with a noticeable heavy rock lean. I love Dream Theater. Yes. Lamb of God. Jinjer. Napalm Death. George Benson. Eric Johnson. Jeff Beck. Alter Bridge. In This Moment. GnR. Chevelle. Heartless Bastards. Fear Factory. Paul Gilbert. My Brightest Diamond. That's not even any of them... So much hip hop it's scary. Guitar centered jazz is a favorite as well. Some pop music is amazing, let's not lie. If we can somehow all be awesome musicians separately while having learned from experience, we could be mega awesome together. I am a pretty good improvisor and would hope the same from you. There's a language that's unspoken while jamming and writing that fleshes out the tunes and that's what I am looking for. A fluent non-speaker, haha. It would be dope to get some gigs and I firmly believe that would happen. Write some stuff and record? I'm down. Covers are easy so who cares from time to time, but those should be unique af, like Cult of Personality or Working Man or My Michelle or the Devil's Bleeding Crown?!? Is Craigslist a long shot? Maybe. If you have some time, interest, and some talent, say hey! Here's a couple links... maybe we've met! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnlBciIIZyQ Some riffs and such https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Olidvpdx1yc A jam with a drummer and bassist https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iqt4gPMOyN0 A little acoustic improvise solos. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UyK0aFuRxS8 A song I had to learn for a possible audition
