emerging legend seeks bandmates (Mount Vernon)

Baltimore, I just moved here from DC. I had to be closer to the scene that inspired me to pursue music. I'm a singer and multi-instrumentalist and I'm looking to form a band. I released a synth-pop EP at the very end of last year. I was trained in operatic technique in college and spent my free time with a funk band, singing and dancing and working the crowd. I have another batch of songs written and would like to bring them alive with other people. Major inspirations would be Beach House, MBV, Lower Dens, Panda Bear, Turnstile, Yo La Tengo, Frank Ocean, Dijon, Grand Master Flash, Van Morrison and many more. I want the vibe to be a bit darker this time around, immersive, cinematic, but captivating and fun. Visceral, undeniable, sublime. :) I'm 32 and super friendly. Music is at the center of my life, and ideally you would describe yourself in a similar way. I want to play around Baltimore, then the East Coast, then nationally and internationally.
