*Blues Vocalists / Musicians Wanted – Weekly Jam (Philly/South Jersey) (Philadelphia)

We’re building a weekly or bi-weekly blues jam and are looking for vocalists who love this music and want to be part of a solid, recurring group. If you sing and play (guitar, harp, keys, bass, drums, etc.), even better — but if you just sing with power and style, we want to hear from you. Our core lineup is forming now, but we want strong voices to help lead songs, take solos, and add harmonies. Influences include: Junior Wells, Magic Sam, Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, Elmore James, Albert King, Paul Butterfield, Etta James, Janis Joplin, John Mayall, Peter Green. Location: Within ~40 minutes of Philadelphia (ZIP 19121) — North, East, or South is ideal, depending on where most musicians are.
