bass player looking start/join a grunge/shoe gaze/alt rock band (Eugene)

Hi I moved to Eugene about a year ago. I grew up in the Portland area and participated in local punk and experimental music scene for about 20 years. I'm stable, drug free, employed, down to earth. I'm looking to collaborate and write fun music with like minded people which would hopefully involve practicing once or twice a week in person, and playing out once or twice a month. Maybe we could record an album or a couple EPs. I'm looking for something low key that meets creative needs. I DO NOT want to learn someone else's treasure trove of songs, I prefer to collaborate. I also don't want to be in an activist band.
