I'm available to sit in a gig as a guitarist, bluegrass banjo, or acoustic folk. I don't want to be full time in a band. I'd rather be the "band-aid" if you come up short players on an upcoming gig. I can read jazz charts and play the chords at tempo. I do read music and have a minor degree in music theory. Retirement is treating me well. I now have time to play out. I'm presently playing in various bluegrass jams with my 5 string banjos. I already play in a classic rock / country rock band that gigs a few times a year. I play jazz guitar occasionally at a weekly jazz jam. I have played in stage bands, rock bands, jazz bands, ukulele bands, bluegrass bands. https://www.facebook.com/groups/777297346916835 At age 74, I'm exhausted from rehearsals. I just wanna play! If I'm too old for your group, I fully understand. But, I have no wish to be a frontman. I'm happy to wear black and stay out of the limelight. I have first class equipment including modeling amplifiers and modeling guitars. I can create any guitar or amp sound needed, including 12 string (think Guild dreadnaught acoustic 12 string, or Rickenbacker 360-12 string from the Byrds, and sitar. Hit me up if you need a last minute substitute player. Or, just an occasional "guest" member. Ron
