Phoenix / Scottsdale cover bands?

Why are all the bands way out east or west? I'm a grown-up drummer looking to play gigs around town with friendly, reliable people. Target - 2-3 monthly gigs, 1 weekly rehearsal. Assuming we'll need guitar, bass, vocal and keys to start. Want to play songs people love to hear? Rock, pop, country, radio hip-hop. Occasional deep cut off very well know albums. I'm thinking: Foo Fighters, The Strokes, The Black Keys, Pink, Bruno Mars, Fallout Boy, Aerosmith, Lenny Kravitz, Green Day, Weezer Respond to this ad and let’s see if we can get something going.
