PRESCHOOL DANCE TEACHER - Teacher will come to our Fine Arts Daycare 4 mornings per week from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. Will take students age 2 - 5 to the studio room for dance instruction, groups will rotate every 20 minutes. The teacher is responsible to follow the dance syllabus and offer fun, creative and educational classes in Ballet, Tap and Creative Movement. The Dance Teacher is responsible to work with a team member to create recital dances for each group, and also be available for 2 evening recitals in May to help children on the stage. I am looking for someone dependable who loves working with children and sharing the love of dance with them. These hours are perfect for a college student working around a school schedule or a mom after she drops children off at school. Requirements Candidates must have a dance background and be knowledgeable with French Ballet Terms and Tap combination patterns. I would prefer that candidates have experience teaching dance classes but am also willing to guide an experienced dancer. Preschool Dance Teachers must wear dance clothing and dance shoes. We find that our little ones idolize their dance teachers and we want a teacher that sets a good example for them. The role is primarily responsible for helping with retail sales, product display in the showroom, and overseeing product uploads / new features and promotions on the website. The ideal candidate has a passion for wood or building, an eye for design / merchandising, and experience with operating a website (Shopify). We are a family-owned Hardwood sawmill with a showroom and wood shop. Our customers are typically high-end hand-made woodworkers, designers / architects, and hobby woodworkers. We sell dry lumber and slabs directly to the public from our showroom, and ship across the globe to distributors, woodworkers etc. Most material ends up in restaurants, hotels, and residential projects.
