This apartment is on the first floor in a 4 unit building in a quiet, peaceful residential area with a lot of beauty (see the view out the windows in the pictures below). This apartment is in the Wollaston section of Quincy, and the rent includes heat and hot water, so you would pay for the electricity (the bills we see average somewhere from mid $70’s to high $80’s per month), gas for the stove (the bills we see average somewhere from $10 to $15 per month), phone, cable, internet, etc. Please note that rent is based on occupancy by no more than two people – if more than two people are to occupy the apartment, a higher rent will apply. This is a good area for you if you like to bike/jog/rollerblade, etc. - the apartment is in a residential area that is close to the ocean (a 6-8 minute walk to Quincy Shore Drive) and close to the building there is a park that has a baseball field along with basketball and tennis courts. It is somewhere around a 12-15 minute walk to the Wollaston T station. There are windows on three sides of the apartment, so it is quite bright. Overall, the apartment is not large, but it is very cozy and sets up well - it is perfect for roommates, as the bedrooms are just about the same size (one is 11' x 11' and the other is 11' x 10') and each will fit a king size bedroom set (a bed with a bureau and dresser). There is a full bath (a tub with a shower) and there is a linen closet right outside the bathroom door. The kitchen comes with a dishwasher, refrigerator and gas stove, and there is enough space in the kitchen for a full sized dining room table. The countertop extends into the living with an overhang that can be used as a kitchen bar. The living room (11’ x 17’) will fit a couple of couches and an entertainment center. There is carpet throughout (in some of the pictures the carpet color may appear to be a light tan, but it is actually a darker mocha with white highlights). In the basement there is a storage locker that will fit 4 or 5 bikes, and there is ample parking on and off street. The building itself has security locks on the doors, an intercom system, and in the basement of the building there is a coin operated washer and a dryer. We do not allow dogs (sorry) but most other pets are acceptable. If you would like more information on the apartment, please send us your email address (please be aware that if you just send through craigslist and do not enter your email address into the text body of your message we DO NOT get your email address) along with your name and a phone number where you may be reached at directly during the day. As a landlord, we are not usually available to make phone calls after 3:30 PM or so because we are busy meeting with people that we have been able to speak with during the day after they get out of work (such things as showing apartments, taking applications, doing leases, etc.). Please note that we will not discuss the apartment with 3rd parties -- we will discuss the apartment only with the person who the apartment is for, and that we will not respond to any email questions without a phone number (it just is not time efficient to send back and forth when a quick conversation can resolve all issues/questions). Thank you.
