Looking for a roommate to share a large 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom apartment in the mission! Sept 15. Rent the room (first 5 pics) is $1450. This living situation is great. We (me and my flatmate) have the full second floor of a beautiful Victorian home. Our landlord lives in the flat above us and handles issues immediately. It is a very welcoming/communal vibe. I have lived in this apartment for over 2 years and i am the main tenant, so you will sign a sublease with me. I am looking for someone who’s interested in staying at least ~6 mo. But hopefully things go well and you stay longer! The space: 2nd floor flat of Victorian home (1890s!) Laundry Free and on site (communal with other apartments) Shared back patio (see pics) Hardwood floors Gas stove 1 Clawfoot bathtub and shower 2 Bathrooms 20 minute walk to either 24th St Bart or 16th St Bart 15 minute bike to Caltrain Great access to all bus lines Street parking No pets per landlord Utilities not included (typically $75 per person a month) About Me: I am a trans/queer research scientist. I work M-Thurs in person at an office. During the week I am very low key. I value my quiet time/time to decompress after working. I usually cook/meal prep sundays, I like to work out, read, sometimes play video games. I go to mission cliffs and enjoy climbing. On weekends I tend to be a lot more active. I love to go on bike rides, dance, or participate in queer activities. Being queer is a huge part of my identity and important to my lifestyle. My flatmate is queer and nonbinary. They are finishing graduate school and just moved in Aug 15. About you: Ideally queer! (Or like an insanely cool ally). Someone who is financially stable, laid back, open/honest communicator, and respectful of quiet times/hours. I like to have respectful and supportive relationships with my roommates, while also providing space for everyone.
