TechOp Solutions is seeking to identify personnel to provide analytical expertise in support of the Department of Homeland Security Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Interoperability Response Center (IRC). The primary operational purpose of an Interoperability Response Center (IRC) is to support ICE field offices in providing 24/7 response to interoperability queries that are automatically generated upon a fingerprint match for a subject booked into local custody. Professional support services are required to conduct analysis, screening, and related support activities in response to Interoperability queries. Overall, the objective of this Professional Support Services Contract is to improve and provide appropriate response to interoperability queries. This position involves shift work providing coverage to support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week operations. This requires all analysts to work some weekends and holidays on a rotational basis. Schedules will be as follows: Day Shift Hours 06:00AM - 2:30PM: Afternoon (Swing) Shift, 2:00PM - 10:30PM: Night Shift, 10:00PM - 06:30AM. Hiring staff to specific shifts. Hybrid Position! 1 day on-site, 4 days at home! Responsibilities Conducts various analysis as directed by Senior Analysts to include work on immigration benefit cases Responsible for making database and manual queries on individuals referred to the PERC by other Law Enforcement Agencies Answer calls from Law Enforcement Agencies Log all information into a web-based case management system Work cases to be referred to an ERO Officer/Agent, ERO field offices or ICE headquarters offices for follow-up review and action Requirements Bachelor’s Degree and two years of related experience desired Associate’s Degree with three years of related experience; or High School degree and five years of related experience required Excellent reading comprehension, writing and communication skills that include the ability to effectively communicate with personnel from various programs Experience in responding to requests for information and searching automated systems for data Ability to review files and perform detailed analytical and research support services Ability to work independently and to manage and prioritize multiple work assignments Law enforcement experience or experience in interpreting and applying immigration law is preferred Experience in utilizing DHS and legacy INS databases desirable Must be able to meet all security eligibility requirements Satisfactory proof of legal right to work in the United States as a US Citizen An active TS or CBP/ICE Public Trust clearance is strongly preferred. Benefits The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TechOp, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $20.00 - $26.00 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and shift.
