POSITION TITLE: Clinical Supervisor REPORTS TO: Program Director POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Program Director, the Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the delivery of all clinical treatment services in an OASAS 820 certified residential services program. The Clinical Supervisor ensures the quality of treatment services, the fidelity of evidence-based service delivery and timely documentation of all group and individual counseling services and support services delivered by the facility’s clinical staff. The Clinical Supervisor promotes an atmosphere that encourages individualized services and consumer involvement in therapeutic activities. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for oversight of job performance, guidance of all clinical staff members and for the direct supervision of all assigned subordinate staff members. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for maintaining OASAS regulatory compliance and assuring that programs operate in accordance with VIP Community Services organizational standards. POSITION DESCRIPTION: · Provide and document direct supervision for designated staff as per VIP Community Services policies. Prepare written annual evaluations, including the development of annual goals, on staff under his/her supervision. · In collaboration with the Program Director, responsible for all personnel actions, including recruitment, hiring, promotion, disciplinary action and separation of program staff. · Provide and implement formal orientation plan to newly hired direct subordinate staff and ensures all clinical staff members are adequately trained. · Review all admissions to the residence and assigns cases accordingly. Review all discharges and ensure appropriate referrals for all clients discontinuing treatment. · Implement, monitor and provide oversight of all aspects related to the delivery of residential substance use disorder services. Ensure compliance with all clinical policies and procedures and protocols. · Conduct regular and direct observations of all clinical treatment activities (e.g., groups, workshops, seminars). · Conduct regular clinical and administrative meetings with staff. · Conduct utilization review, incident management and review and quality assurance reviews. · Assure that staff maintains accurate and confidential clinical records that comply with external monitoring agency standards and internal policy and procedures. · Ensure compliance with all referent communications, HRA STARS reporting, and HRA finger imaging verification. · Act as consumer advocate, assuring that all consumers’ rights are respected and that all grievances and complaints are addressed in a timely and equitable manner in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. · When necessary, will provide crisis intervention services and/or maintain a caseload of assigned clients. · Prepare all assigned proposals and reports. · Assume responsibility for program operations in the absence of the Program Director. · Provide ongoing training for clinical staff and participate in VIP Community Services’ in-service trainings. · Lead clinical quality improvement activities in collaboration with Program Director. · Represent VIP Community Services at community and public forums. · Provide on-call availability as assigned. · Other relevant duties as assigned by Program Director. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: · Graduate degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, or related field preferred. · A minimum of two (2) years administrative and clinical experience in a substance use disorder treatment or human service setting required · One (1) year experience in a clinical supervisory role preferred. · Qualified Mental Health Professional (e.g., LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, CRC, Ph.D., MSN, CASAC, etc.) preferred. · Ability to interact effectively with all populations served. · Excellent written and oral communication skills. · Proficiency with computer operation (Microsoft Word, Excel, Electronic Health Record and Outlook programs) · Ability to speak, read and write the English language. · Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends · This position will require availability as needed including on call responsibilities. Access Services is hiring a full-time Youth Outreach Coordinator for our Chester County Teen Talk Lines, to serve teens in Chester County, from community locations across Chester County, and two office days based in Plymouth Meeting, PA. The Youth Outreach Coordinator will focus primarily on leading and growing our Teen Talk line in Chester County. They will be passionate about teens, recovery, mental health, and suicide prevention. They will find creative ways to promote the Chester Teen Talk Lines through connecting with people, public partners, and remaining active in the community. The Youth Outreach Coordinator will be a highly organized person who can run meetings, deliver presentations, and inspire through public speaking in community and school locations. The Youth Outreach Coordinator will develop community and school relationships on behalf of the Chester County Teen Talk Line (TTL).  You will monitor the education and public awareness of the program and maintain relationships with collaborating agencies in Chester County. In addition, you will promote the program and crisis prevention services at schools and in the community, community events, and partnership meetings. You will be involved with teen volunteer relations and engagement. Location: This position will require ongoing travel to schools, providers, and community events in Chester County, with at least two days per week in the Plymouth Meeting office. Requirements Essential Functions of Youth Outreach Coordinator: Pursue relationships and deliver presentations to schools and community groups to educate them about TTL as a resource as well as the volunteer and hosting opportunities.  Use your personal experiences and training to educate the community on mental health and wellness.  Brainstorm potential partnerships and regularly engage with the community in Chester County, maintaining a calendar for outreach events and working closely with community partners.  Assist with managing social media accounts to promote the program and department.  Assist with the maintenance and development of marketing materials specific to promoting Chester County TTL.  Share community resources and information available in Chester County with other team members to assist with appropriate referral.  Maintain knowledge around risk management, secondary trauma, and wellness to allow for appropriate support of teen volunteers.  Assist with the recruitment of youth volunteers.   Build relationships with youth volunteers through mentoring, support/supervision, education, and engagement.  Communicate volunteer concerns/needs to the leadership team.  Work closely with department leadership to promote and support the growth of crisis prevention services in Montgomery and Chester Counties.  Mentor other team members and help to provide shift oversight in the absence of other leadership.  Travel during a normal workday to attend offsite meetings and provide services in the community. The employee will need to drive their personal vehicle to meet these expectations, drive in a safe manner at all times, and meet eligibility criteria in agency Motor Vehicle Policy at all times. Requirements and Qualifications of Youth Outreach Coordinator Education: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a related field, including Human Services, Behavioral Health, Special Education, Psychology, or Social Work. Certification: Certified Peer Specialist certification, or willingness to complete within the first 6 months of work. Experience: One year of experience working with teenagers in a behavioral health setting required. AND A history of personal lived experience with mental health is required. Previous experience with marketing, public presentation, and/or networking is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to navigate and prioritize multiple responsibilities and independently maintain a working schedule that meets all program requirements. Demonstrated leadership ability, mentorship skills, and creativity in creating ideas and solutions.
