Optometry Practice- Optician wanted: 5 days/wk Available NOW!! We are Borel Eye Doctors; a well-established San Mateo private optometry practice, with an opening for a FULL-time Optician. A minimum of two years optical experience preferred to join our exceptional team. Certificates and Licenses: ABOC Preferred but not required Specialized Training Required: *Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of patients in assisting with frame selection based on their individual prescriptions. *Know all aspects of VSP patient care / Eyefinity billing *Relay and interpret the information obtained from patient insurance authorizations and properly review benefits and availability for services and materials. *Transcribe doctor prescriptions for patient requests. *Effectively present information and respond to questions from doctors, managers, patients, customers, and the general public. *Superior knowledge of Compulink Eyecare Software Program or similar *Frame adjusting of both metal and zyl materials: manually & hot air warmer & glass beads *Contact lens insertion and removal trainer *Ability to use all equipment and instrumentation related to optician position *Pretest patients when needed What do we have to offer? We are small 6 care home facility in Antioch Ca, looking for compassionate, dedicated and patience caregivers. Applicants must be 18yrs and above, must have an authorization to work in U.S., will be able to clean, prepare meals and give medications. Must be professional in approaching people. Must be fingerprinted prior to hire. Our shift starts at 8am to 5.30pm. Both full-time and part-time needed. Our Live-in (only) gets free three meals.

Caring for 85 year old female , she can walk , has a walker and some mobility issues. Aide would need to hygenically thouroughly clean patient , light house keeping light meal prep. Other than help with her personal hygiene , basically just companioning. This potential p/t position will be Mon & Thurs approx 10 am-2 p.m. and possibly more days and or hours in the future ?
