Looking for an outgoing and health conscious dental assistant to join our team in a serene fee for service office located in a fantastic Noho neighborhood. M/T/Th/F. Passion for dentistry and 5+ year experience in an upscale office using Dentrix/Dexis/iTero preferred.

Authorization Coordinator / Medicare / Medicaid Location: Midtown, NYC (Hybrid) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (no exceptions) Pay Range: $19.00 – $20.00 per hour Key Requirements: Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word required; Excel, Teams, OneNote a plus). Flexibility to work in-office and remotely in a secure home environment. Must have reliable high-speed internet for remote work. Typing speed: 60 wpm. Strong time management, organizational, and follow-up skills. Ability to work with urgency while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid coverage strongly preferred (Medicare/CMS guidelines, eMedNY Provider Manuals). Experience setting up or assigning authorizations for review strongly preferred. Familiarity with HCPCS, CPT codes, ICD-10, HIPAA, and PHI preferred. Coding/billing experience preferred, but not required. Exposure to systems such as Perceptive Content (ImageNow), MS Access, Adobe, Altruista GuidingCare is a plus (training provided).
